COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY

Cone Beam Computed Tomography – CBCT

CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) is a modern 3D imaging method used in dentistry for three-dimensional visualization of teeth, jaws and surrounding anatomical structures.

Unlike conventional X-rays, CBCT provides high-precision three-dimensional images, allowing detailed diagnosis and proper treatment planning.

When is tomography used:

  • In implant planning (visualization of bone, sinuses and other anatomical structures).
  • In the planning and execution of endodontic treatments.
  • In the detection of root canals, root fractures, cysts or other pathological lesions.
  • In the evaluation of impacted teeth.
  • In cases of trauma or complex cases.
