ENDODONTICS IN CHILDREN – REGENERATIVE TECHNIQUES
Permanent teeth before completion of their development.
A permanent tooth before completion of root development may need endodontic treatment (root canal) due to deep decay or trauma. Our goal is to preserve as much healthy pulp tissue as possible so that root formation can continue and be completed.
For this reason, we apply modified versions of adult endodontic treatment (root canal) such as pulpotomy in cases of vital pulp, apical plug or revascularization in cases of necrotic pulp.
These techniques involve the use of modern biocompatible materials.
